Through HTM’s partnership with Replenish Counseling, students have access to a school-based program that supports emotional well-being, healthy relationships, resilience, and social-emotional growth.
The Student Wellness Program gives children opportunities to better understand their emotions, practice communication and friendship skills, work through everyday challenges, and build tools they can use both in and out of the classroom.
HTM fully funds the program, so there is no additional cost to families.
The program includes two types of student support:
Social Emotional Learning Programming - Social Emotional Learning activities and groups are part of HTM’s broader educational and student support programming.
Individual Student Support - Brief one-on-one check-ins are available when a student would benefit from more focused support with a specific school, emotional, or peer-related concern.

Social Emotional Learning, often called SEL, helps students develop practical skills for navigating emotions, relationships, and everyday challenges.
SEL activities and groups are designed to complement the Montessori curriculum and may focus on:
- Emotional awareness
- Self-regulation
- Friendship skills
- Communication
- Problem-solving
- Confidence
- Resilience
- Leadership
- Healthy relationships
Students may learn through conversations, stories, games, creative projects, movement, role-playing, and opportunities to practice new skills together.
SEL is educational in nature and is considered part of HTM’s educational and student support programming.

A teacher, parent, or member of the wellness team may notice that a student could benefit from additional support. Parents may also reach out directly to share a concern.
Before check-ins begin, the student’s parent or guardian will be contacted and asked to provide permission. The wellness team may also gather information from the parent and teacher to better understand what the student is experiencing and what kind of support may be most helpful.
Think your child may benefit from individual support?
Visit the Make a Referral page to share what you are noticing with the wellness team.
Parents and guardians are an important part of that process. We welcome communication from families and will work alongside parents, teachers, and students to determine the most appropriate support for each child.
